Founded in rural Far North Queensland in 2023 by brother-sister team Kate and Patrick, MediBetter was created to solve the real, everyday challenges GPs and clinics face working with the complex and difficult-to-use MBS system.

With a background in medicine and practice management, they saw firsthand how these complexities placed unnecessary strain on healthcare delivery and often left clinicians underpaid for the care they provide. Determined to change that, they set out to build tools that are not only powerful, but also affordable and accessible for every clinician, no matter where they practice.

With over 10 years of clinical experience as an MD and RACGP registrar and a background as a paramedic, Patrick understands the on-the-ground realities of MBS billing. His insights ensure that MediBetter’s tools tackle genuine challenges and deliver real solutions for busy GPs.

Kate Taudevin

With a background in Occupational Therapy and Practice Management, Kate has supported clinics in their daily operations and has lived the challenges and impact the complex MBS has on clinicians and their clinics. Her experience, paired with her background in Neuroscience of Leadership, equips her to lead MediBetter’s mission to support GPs with practical, user-friendly tools.
